Diving Zanzibar & Safari Kenya
Itinerary:
- Day 1: Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Nairobi. Lotto’s Inn & Suites. Breakfast included.
- Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park. Our driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 07:30am, have a safari briefing with our tourism officer and then drive to Lake Nakuru National, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar. Game drives in the afternoon and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. The park covers 180 square kilometers and is home to wild boar, antelope, buffalo, antelope and occasionally leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park a few years ago and you will find white rhinos at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight, with more than 400 species of birds found here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar.
- Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve Breakfast, then south through the beautiful savannahs and plains of the Rift Valley, arriving at the camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon game drives followed by dinner and accommodation in Zebra Plains or similar.
- Day 4/5: Maasai Mara 2 full days exploring the vast Maasai Mara savanna in search of the Big 5 and other wildlife. Optional hot air balloon safari. Dinner and overnight at Zebra Plains. Mara. Masai Mara offers wildlife so varied and abundant it’s hard to believe: more than 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, wild boars, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalos, leopards and many types of antelopes and elephants. It is in Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event in the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. They are followed by the predators of the savanna: lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.
- Day 6: Mara – Nairobi. Breakfast then drive to Nairobi airport for flight to Zanzibar and transfer to Nungwi. Accommodation in the chosen hotel.
- Days 7,8,9 and 10: two dives daily in the best diving spots in Northern Zanzibar.
- Day 11: Rest day before flying to enjoy Nungwi
- Day 12: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport, Stone Town.

Extra activities: Zanzibar excursion designed to show you the most interesting aspects of our beautiful island. You will visit the slave caves of Mangapwani. You will take a tour of the Zanzibaris spice route with food included. Walk with a local guide through the streets of Stone Town, visit the museum and the slave chamber. Price: $95 per person
