7 DAYS – 6 NIGHTS SAFARI ABERDARES L.NAKURU AND MASAI MARA
Itinerary:
- Day 1: Pick up from the airport and transfer to Nairobi hotel, Lotos Inn and Suites or similar.
- Day 2: Pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Aberdares for lunch. The park is in the Central Highlands of Kenya and offers habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Columbus monkeys, buffalo, warthogs and antelopes, among others. Wildlife viewing as the animals visit the waterhole next to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge (lunch, dinner)
- Day 3: After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching. The park is home to over 56 different species of mammals including white rhino, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and zebra. The park is considered by avid bird watchers to be the world’s greatest ornithological spectacle, and is currently a Rothchild’s rhino and giraffe sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Day 4: After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara for lunch. In the afternoon, game drive until sunset. This is Kenya’s number one park. Masai Mara is most famous for the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc. from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of new feeding grounds, which takes place from late July to September. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Day 5: After breakfast, depart for full-day game drives with packed lunch and return to your lodge in the afternoon. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Day 6: Full day in Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara Game Reserve, so named because it means “spotted plains” in the Maa language. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Day 7: After breakfast, depart with packed lunch to Nairobi where your safari ends.
